“Sand people”, or “People of sand”, are people of a very “fragile structure”, they are passive and afraid. They are afraid of any movement and expect something from the sky. Manna from heaven does not fall. They do not even suspect that the wind (external events) will easily destroy them, because you can only overstand against it when you resist, when you are active.
